GIS is delighted to announce that Associate Professor Gregory Khezrnejat has been nominated for the prestigious Akutagawa Prize. The award recognises new authors of Japanese literature, with Professor Khezrnejat being nominated for his novella 開墾地 (Kaikonchi), published in the November issue of Gunzо̄. The Akutagawa Prize is one of Japan’s top honours and GIS is immensely proud of Professor Khezrnejat’s achievement; we wish him the best of luck for the announcement of the winner in January!
