GIS strives to give our students every opportunity to expand their global perspective. Our Overseas Academic Study (OAS) program has been hugely successful in providing students with the experience of spending a semester studying abroad in an English language environment.

Currently, GIS offers the chance to study abroad at four universities: the University of Sussex (UK), San José State University (USA), Massey University (New Zealand) and the University of Prince Edward Island (Canada).

We will be holding an information session on Wednesday June 29th at 12:50pm in room S601 for current GIS students interested in studying abroad. At the orientation session you will be able to meet the staff and professors involved in the schemes, hear what they have to say about it and ask them questions.
