Global Human Resources and English as a Lingua Franca: A GIS Perspective

On November 16th GIS professors Yutai Watanabe, Takamasa Fukuoka and John Melvin will take part in a symposium, sponsored by Chiyoda ward. The theme of the symposium is “Global Human Resources and English as a Lingua Franca: A GIS Perspective” and will feature a short lecture by each professor from their specialist perspective, followed by a panel discussion. The lectures and discussion will primarily be in Japanese, with some English. Entrance is free and it may be of particular interest to university students, high school students and parents.
