GIS students win Hosei Progressive Learning Award

GIS students Manami Kon and Airi Matsubara were part of an inter-faculty team who won the Progressive Learning Award (‘Shinshu-no-manabi-sho’ 進取の学び賞) at the 6th annual Hosei Practical Knowledge Award Ceremony (‘Jiyu-wo-ikinuku-jissenchi-taisho’ 自由を生き抜く実践知大賞). The awards were established to honour education and research which embodies the Hosei University Charter. Manami Kon said of the event: “there were so many interesting students who are trying to make Hosei University a better environment for all people involved and I am so inspired by them. This became my motivation to study more and give back to society in some way.”

Congratulations to both of these exceptional GIS students!
