On May 30th 2019, GIS welcomed students from Soongsil University in South Korea for a special day of classes. In the morning session, Professor Heidi Imai from GIS led a collaborative workshop in Political Geography, where students from both universities enjoyed working together to produce a visual presentation on the theme of Political Space and Architecture of Power. In the afternoon, Professor Jung In Kim from Soongsil University introduced his students, who gave short presentations on their visions for the future of Korean Architecture. Dr. Imai then concluded the day with an informative lecture about Tokyo’s mysterious underground world.
