Due to the effects of the coronavirus and in accordance with Hosei University procedures, GIS has moved its classes online for the initial portion of the Spring semester. In the interest of our students’ safety, GIS is dedicated to utilizing innovative online tools for continuing our interactive method of education while following public health guidelines. It should be noted that this unprecedented situation has unfortunately caused certain programs such as the Overseas Study Abroad program to be cancelled for the 2020 academic year. However, we are endeavoring to maintain as many features of our learning environment as we can via an online format, as well as some new resources, such as our ‘Virtual Common Room.’ Although we are now educating remotely, GIS remains committed to its high standard of instruction and sustaining our close-knit community.
