There’s a good chance you’ve heard about, or even met, the GIS Student Supporters. Established this year, they are a team dedicated to enhancing the experience of our GIS student community.

They’ve been busy hosting a series of events, advising students on a number of key issues relating to their studies, such as midterms, seminar applications. Their weekly ‘open’ Zoom sessions were especially useful for remote learners to connect with each other. First year students in particular appreciated this help as their campus time has been limited this year.
